When Ibex had trouble selling though a merino/cotton collection instead of putting it all on sell we decided to give it new life to ensure a circular system and sell through. I leveraged my experience with natural dye and wool to collaborate and elevate a small batch collection of hand-dyed tie dye pieces. By working closely with Green Matters Natural Dye Company, we sampled a number of techniques and dyes before landing on indigo and cutch as our preferred colors. By using pollution-free natural dyes and simple tie dye techniques we reimagined inventory and elevated the designs.
